The meeting point for this day was the Marq-Castillo TRAM stop at 8:45 am, because before the activity we had planned, we needed to take the train to meet our teacher Gaspar, who would take us trekking around the Agulló Tower in Villajoyosa.
It was a bit funny when it was time to take the tram, as there were too many of us and we had to make sure everyone got on board. Once inside, we managed to get seats and chatted until we arrived at what we thought was our stop. However, our economy teacher, Raul, had to warn us that it wasn't the right one, so we hurriedly got back.
After climbing a large staircase near the sea, we stopped in a big park to have lunch and rest for a bit, as some of us were tired. After this break, we continued walking for about an hour until we reached the top of the Agulló tower, where there was a small castle-like structure and wooden tables where we ate and had a great time while enjoying from the distance the incredible views of Benidorm.
On the way back, the teachers decided to take a different route to avoid burdening one of the teachers who had a knee pain. We walked to a tram stop near a shopping centre.
Back in Alicante, while waiting for the tram, we planned the rest of the afternoon since it was the last day for the Portuguese and Turkish students. We decided to take them to Postiguet beach and the centre of Alicante, so they could buy souvenirs for their family and friends if they wanted to. Once there, we set a meeting point and split up. Some of us went for a drink in a café, while others walked along the "explanada".
It was a very enjoyable time spent with our international friends, although it was also sad when it was time to say goodbye. We all had a great time during the week, and we didn't want this moment to come. After saying goodbye, everyone went home.
