Social media addiction seminar

The fifth day in Turkey, and our third day in Sivas, was more theoretical than practical.

It was mainly focused on a seminar given by the German representative, dedicated to technology and social media addiction, and how it affects our daily lives. The seminar was very helpful, and there was great collaboration and participation from all the teams from different countries, which helped in gradually building those bonds of friendship.

The project

With the Coronavirus epidemic, digital addiction is a growing problem among young people in our society that is leading youth people to misbehavior, social isolation and self-exclusion, depression, mental disorders, and many more dangerous paths. Young people need guidance to move away from technological addiction and turn their steps to real life where they can establish reliable relationships and live healthier lives. We have come to the conclusion that the problem is a universal one and the tendency to digital addiction is really common among teenagers worldwide; therefore, we need to find some solutions before the problem grows even bigger.
